ITIL Australia

ITIL Implementation White Papers

ITIL is, as the OGC states, a set of best practices. Although ITIL was originally created by the CCTA, a UK Government agency. it is now being adopted and used across the world as the defacto standard for best practice in the provision of IT Service.

Van Schaik compiled the 1985 book A Management System for the Information Business (since updated with a 2006 re-issue by Red Swan Publishing). Once this work is done, the project board is asked to authorize the next stage, that of initiating the project.
