Case Study ITIL

After the initial publication, the number of books quickly grew within ITIL v1 to over 30 volumes. ITIL gives a detailed description of a number of important IT practices with comprehensive checklists, tasks and procedures that can be tailored to any IT organization. The Service Support ITIL discipline is focused on the User of the ICT services and is primarily concerned with ensuring that they have access to the appropriate services to support the business functions.

The negative aspect is that many of the essential elements of PRINCE2 can be omitted sometimes resulting in a PINO project - Prince in Name Only. The PRINCE2 process covers what should be done for a stage that has gone outside its tolerance levels. Case Study ITIL Organizations or a management system may not be certified as "ITIL-compliant".

A UC is a contract with an external supplier that supports the IT organization in its delivery of services. Safety is to be protected against risks.

This function is the single point of contact between users and IT Service Management.
