Manager S Certificate In IT Service Management

To assist with the implementation of ITIL practices a further book was published providing guidance on implementation (mainly of Service Management): ITIL is an acronym for IT Infrastructure Library. ITIL v3, published in May 2007, comprises 5 key volumes.

Configuration management contains current, accurate, and comprehensive information about all components of the IT infrastructure. The ITIL library has been recently refined by including IT Service Management issues raised by the introduction of new technology, and the impact of increasing IT and business complexity. ITIL Service Delivery Processes include Service Level Management, Financial Management for IT Services, Availability Management, Capacity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, and Security Management. IT Service Management in the broader sense overlaps with the discipline of IT portfolio management, especially in the area of IT planning and financial control.

The process involves assessing the impact of change upon service quality and SLAs.
